this was my joy division growing up
My old band Hunger Farm was on the same label as the Offspring, Nemesis Records.
They were just another local OC punk band before they got huge. Good guys.
hm didnt know that. Wasnt regret one of their top hits?
i get goosebumps from my favourite songs every time, i read that our brains could be ‘‘wired’’ uniquely
thats awesome, you should share some of the ones that give you goosebumps
here a song that gives me goosebumps
Aw the first one wont play in my country, but toast to the south paws
I was talking about their early years @gcar.
I think Regret was after they were already on the radio.
Dexter always had a great singing voice.
They deserved all the success in the world.
I get goosebumps from this song. Particularly in the beginning of the second verse when the cymbals kick in.
Oh okay I hear where your coming from. I guess its just a bummer how some bands change the way their music sounds when they blow up and go mainstreatm. Its like their trying to please the audience or the producers versus just keeping it real. Not all bands do this tho, and some even revert after playing so many hits, which i think is reprituable
another one that doesnt play in my country. What country are you living in @san_pedro
Hans Zimmer always gives me goosebumps. I also like “Now we are free” by Hans Zimmer
Radiohead - How To Disappear Completely
She has such a strong voice and most of her songs are very moving
@Solidus I love instrumentals they carry a different weight and a fresh tune. Because really its your current mood (or thew current voices lol) that decides how your going to relate to it. Heres one you might like that I recently downloaded: It gives me chicken skin
Hey @anongoodnurse thanks for sharing, hope your having an awesome day. I like that song, it reminds me of how there has always been a different song at each stage of my recovery or illness that I just resonated with. It gives me hope for change. Reminds me with this disease, everything is just temporary and reality is nothing more than subjective and how one chooses to express it
