congrats on becoming an alpha male, pedro!
i’m stuck between being a bee and being a lion. a bee is best servitude, but a lion is an alpha male. to serve or to dominate? that is the question. i think i’d like serving better.

PEDRO i hear you
What’s alpha is the way you choose to live
I would take a gander that you should think good about yourself.
im kinda stuck like sir boring between a magicfish and a wallafish.
Ill dominate the sea eventually!!
I don’t think that a desire to dominate is healthy by anybody,
I think the progressive masses should hold the keys.
Very Very progressive, technology and society wise.
Whats wrong with wanting to be a leader of your tribe?
Why should you be a leader of others?
I am not ready to be anybody’s servant.
This is the most important thing.
What is wrong is a misplaced sense of privilege that should be thrown out.
If you want to do something for the benefit of society, then you can do it but only on condition
that you seek the benefit of society really.
This is the person that I want in a group of leaders, that includes all who strive really for the benefit of society
and not just narrow personal interests of themselves and their cronies.
yea i know those ones. they work in the government
I think that a lot of countries suffer from being run poorly,
it is really a big problem on a global scale.
Glad we have countries like the US and China that actually move us forward.
Erez, the US is behind most modern nations in so many ways. No universal healthcare, no mandatory maternity leave, no mandatory paid sick leave. These are things most modern nations take for granted. Our politicians take huge sums of money from rich donors. Usually, the one that takes the most money wins because they have more resources to get their name out there. Those same politicians more often than not make decisions that benefit those rich donors. Unless they are caught saying “I’m giving you money so you’ll do this for me” “Yes I’m taking this bribe in exchange for political favors” they can’t be prosecuted for corruption.
@IndustrialLad Look. The US moves the world forward in terms of research, development and incorporation
of new technologies.
So in that regard the US moves the world forward.
There may be serious problems in the US, but believe me, if you complain of corruption
and mismanagement there are countries that do WAY WORSE than the US.
That said, I believe that the US has its fair share of problems and should be much better managed.
For example, I am ready to be an adviser to congressmen without salary without anything,
just being a lobbyist not for narrow interests but for the GREATER GOOD.
Try to do it @industrialLad.
I will try to change Israel for the better if I get better.
I don’t need money or a job to try to talk to MKs and cabinet ministers
and overpower narrow interests and promote the greater good.
The only approach I know of that works in the US is get a large amount of constituents together and say “If you don’t vote this way, we’re all voting for the other guy when your term is up.”
