Accidentally took double my metformin this evening. I took 2000mg at 5pm and then another 2000mg around 7pm. I didn’t even realize the mistake at first till I looked in my pill planner. I called poison control and they said I might get some symptoms but I didn’t need to go to the hospital. It’s now 9:30pm and I’ve been violently throwing up for the past half hour. Can’t even keep water down. I don’t know if I should go into the hospital or not, trying to see if this subsides. I’d really like to get to bed and I work in the morning. Oh no my stomach is getting very upset.

Go to the hospital if you can. I took two tablets of trazodone a sleep aid. Just taking that extra tablet made me sick. Overdosed ne. Please go if you get worse. Hugs

Yes @LilyoftheValley I’ve had non stop vomiting and diarrhea since 2am. Had to call out of work today. But starting to feel a bit better as it’s now 11am
