A Poem: Talents

Normies amaze me,
They take their talents
For granted,
Like I once did.

when schizophrenics start making excuses, we lose the greater achievements of disabilities.

quoted, Sheri. damn straight

Eagles amaze me,
They take their talons
For granted,
Like I once did.

One time, at band camp, lol no seriously, one time on the way back from mom’s place I saw something on a pole by the side of the road in a turnout so I pulled in and I slowed way down and slowly got closer and closer to it. Both my kids were little and strapped into their booster seats in the back. As soon as we got close enough to realize what it was our jaws dropped. It was a huge bald eagle. just standing there totally unafraid. We pulled right up to him. he was so big and majestic. But you wouldn’t want to go anywhere near those talons though.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one :slightly_frowning_face:

That’s a cool story.

The sight of one up close is something to behold. You know right then and there how it is that they are our national bird. They are great like our nation.

My church says we all have unique talents to contribute. That is part of the way the needs of the church are met.
