A Poem: Judge

How do you judge a life?
The beginning
The middle
Or the end?

By my present. How well I’m doing right now, trying to find heaven in the moment, being at peace.

Past hurts, future terrifies. Least for me.

I know I always say it, but it’s true, your poems are always great brain food for thought.

Thank you EH. Wishing you well.

When I am old and clearly dying, I will find the time to review my life and memories and get some resolution.

I hate the present, worry about the future and find refuge in the past. Working out the past gives me strength to live the present that is not always favorable.

Couldnt agree more. I have a bright future so Im told, but it seems to slip between my fingers more every day. My past is what keeps me going. Im not strong enough to worry about the present

I hate myself in my past, but have learned from it, try to enjoy the present and have hope for my future. That is all I can do.

Also, thank you as well.
