Im sorry if I offended you I was born in a cardboard city
it was an ugly poem and the world is not so pretty
the jagged edges of the gymnasium is making my mind feel
like an endless film reel stretched to its limit
finna wake the sleeping beast under the halls of Greece
make crash the parties with earthquakes maddening rings
and when they cast shadows over this glory holiday vacation
the lunatics will point at her face for shame the nation
As they destroy all the people we love and circles
circles like spirals and stolen ideas and dirty knees
diseases like words that mean mystery that mean sin that mean eve
that means beliefs are evil so shut up about what you think.
lets not be political, oh how I shun that rhyme schematic
Lets martyr our metaphors to sound fanatic and brave
In a world devoid of truth, at least to seem safe.

You’re not as fragile as paper flowers. Celebrate your flesh on this holiday of plenty.

thank you for your comment. I have been working on showing the light and dark or mostly trying to be happier but this poem just went sunk.
