A day at the Movies!

So just got through the 2hr 35 min of the latest Dune movie. I was impressed in hanging in there and getting through it even with my concentration lacking. It was pretty good. Worth seeing on the big screen and would say overall it’s good. Some things different from the book but pretty well follows the story. I liked some things…found some of the dialogue a bit iffy but overall a good movie.

Here’s me and all my friends at the movies…it filled up to a total of 8 people watching the first session of the day!

Glad you had a good time. I always had a hard time getting into the Dune book but I respect the culture behind it. :+1:

I didn’t have the concentration to get through the whole Dune movie. It’s good but there was a lot going on.

I enjoyed Dune. It was a very well made film

Can’t wait for part 2…

They did end it in a pretty odd place though

i liked dune 2021 movie. the beginning was a bit dry. but it evolved into really good sci fi fantasy which i relly liked.

I went to the movies a while ago and was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t really get inpatient. I think if the movie is good then it will go well.

My new meds make it to where I can actually concentrate more. So my friend and I go to the movies every Friday. We really enjoyed the movie. However I have not been able to find the book at the library so haven’t had the chance to read that tome.

I’ve pre-ordered the dvd so I can watch it and take breaks.
