Hospice doesn’t want me on xanax so I’m taking attavan instead. We’re going to cut the dosage in half as it has a strong effect on me. I’m very groggy. Otherwise, I’m doing well.

Meds will sometimes do that to you but it usually wears off as your brain gets used to it.

I had to taper my benzo very slowly.
Benzo withdrawal can be very harsh.

My doctor doesn’t want me on benzos. I’m not one to insist, although as a prn it’d be most welcome.
