Nadal just won a 10th French open title, and a 15th grand slam title, demolishing Stanislas Wawrinka in the final 6-2 6-3 6-1.
Nadal will climb to World no 2 in tomorrow’s rankings, eying the world no 1 spot.
Nadal now overtook retired American tennis legend Petros “Pete” Sampras who has 14 grand slam titles.
Now Nadal has more grand slam singles titles than any other male tennis player in history,

This was Nadal’s first grand slam crown in 3 years, his last being the 2014 French Open.
