Never heard of that software, nice first attempt, keep it up!
really nice =) you are really good at this!
Ty! I think I’m improving, I still have that thing where I look at my work later and think “this looks different than the moment I made it” lol, but maybe I can close that gap with practice.
Wanna make something today too, haven’t decided what.
Want to try to do some 3d every day, so I spent some time making this object, that has no decided function
Looks like something out of AutoCAD lol
Are you now an engineer
using box cutter in Blender, you should check it out! Makes it so fun and fast to model.
Is it a plugin or native in blender?
I’ve never seen it…that I can remember
It’s a plugin, not free, but worth it IMO!
Just checked it out on blender market… I might get this! I’m about to go into a modeling phase for the racing game I’m doing. Might be useful for cutting car details ?
For sure! Josh gambrell on YouTube have tutorials for it which I have been following. Using box cutter on round objects tend to create some shading problems though, but those shading problems can be worked around in various ways.
Cool cool! I’ma check 'em out than.
I would recommend this bundle Hard Ops / Boxcutter Ultimate Bundle - Blender Market
it also comes with hard ops, which has a lot of useful tools that goes well together with boxcutter
Yea… I’m on it bro! Thanks for the recommendation
Bought an add-on that lets you add surface imperfections, it was not cheap, but just what I was looking for
Playing around with some studio lighting, I think I prefer it to natural lighting, it’s kind of looks more artificial but in a good way.
@anon31960475 Did you try out box cutter?
Not yet… I still have some more work to do before I switch the modeling. It probably will be next month when I’m in that phase and have the $40
