3 schizophrenic sisters

Sorry I just can’t get over it. I’m 10 years in remission and our late middle sister is 14 years gone.
I’m knocked into not functioning all that well. My husband is confused and upset by my reactions and stress levels.
Think a late onset schizophrenia could have been prevented but there were substances, continuing into her 30’s.

Alcoholic, delusional, mostly in bed for 2 years she has been. I can’t believe it’s happening again. my poor mum. For my own sanity i’m staying away all except Christmas Eve.

will need people around me when husband is working and mum and sister are away.

Sorry this happened to you, I can’t imagine how hard it must be.

I’m curious if other relatives have a history of sz or other MI also?

Hi,
no
no one i know about

Why have you changed your avatar and all?

I’m sorry…it is really frustrating situation. Really the best you can do is to keep getting better - you really have a control only over yourself…not over other people and their conditions… Even if those are your sisters.

hi Sarad,

just being less traceable

i know its a long shot but my sister lives on the internet and could possibly do a search on the old nic i had.

I am no longer going to be inappropriate with what i share about her. I think i went into details at some point , she would not like that

I’m not really expecting it to happen - just being a bit cautious.
