10 year glow up pics

Thought it might be fun if we shared selfies ten years apart, if you want! And maybe a little blurb about the differences in your life

Here’s mine

I was 20 in the first pic and just starting on my gender identity exploration. I was also in college, but this was right before I had to take a year off for my mental health. Later on in 2013 and into 2014 I had my first psychotic episode in a deep depression.

This is about 8 years ago:

I wasn’t struggling with my weight then.

And I look younger,

But not much has really changed.

Well, I broke that vanity chair.

That changed.

Thank you!

I loved that romper.

Can’t find it now.

Not that it would fit as well,

But it was cute.

Rompers are seriously the best imo but I can never find any that fit me lol

They’re definitely all different and there seems to be no standard.

Of all the rompers I’ve tried,

I only liked two.

That was one.

One thing for me is I dont have breasts anymore so I have to be careful what style of women’s clothes I buy , low cut looks weird, and lots of women’s clothes are made for those with breasts. It’s frustrating lol

I would totally participate but there really are very few pics I have of me at 20 to 40. I wasnt big into picture taking. I have pics as a child, and pics as a teen and of course current pics, but not much in between. :frowning:

And whatever pics I had on phone or pcs have been lost when changed hardware. The only place I might find pics of that era are family and freinds.

As far as a blurb about what was differnent in my life. At 40 I had a house, was working two jobs and was pre first psychotic break, even though I might have had some mild symptoms at the time. It was near the beginning of it all. I do have childhood and teen pics on pc but I dont want to post off topic unless you want me too.

Do you sew?

My sister had a hell of a time finding clothes that fit her body.

She’s 6’2" and a size 4-6.

Learning to sew can change your freaking life if you have a difficult to buy for body.

Go for it!

I know how to hand sew, not very well, but I have made a few jeans into bell bottoms before. Never made any clothes though, it seems hard

This was me about 11 years ago. F*ed up on morphine, totally out of it, and completely suicidal.

The 2nd one is of me now. Happy. Stable. Sober. The little one is my 9 yr old Abby, and im so grateful to be able to be present in all of my childrens lives now.

My sister started with this book.

It’s all easy, fun and done with t-shirts.

My sister even made the wedding dress at the end of the book.

It was beautiful.

I kinda want to post a childhood photo now because of this, if @Moon doesn’t mind the extra off-topic post, haha!

I’m so happy for you.

I don’t think i have any photos of me taken ten years ago.

My laptop died and I had my old photos in there.
