I was thinking the other day about when I smoked or tried to smoke my first cigarette. That thing made me cough badly and I actually hated everything about it except that it was something new to try in life that was “bad” or (cool in other words). I’m 4 months now without one. There have been some pretty intense craving “moments” but I understand that they are from a carb addiction and alcohol one as well as a nicotine one and they pass as I am fighting them off like the enemy they are.

I have a suspicion than cigarettes sped things up for me with regards to getting diagnosed. I began getting paranoid at exactly the same time I started smoking.

I started smoking in the mental hospital.

I started smoking when I started high school.

I started smoking back in junior high. day 5 now stopped…always seems to be the turning point for me if I can just make it through today!
