Zone out blackout

Does anyone zone out like mind goes for a few seconds?
It happens noticeably when im on the phone to family they quickly say goodbye and I’m wondering what happened to me

I think it happens in stressful situations because it takes a lot of concentration to keep talking on the phone
My mind just blacks out with overload

I do that a lot. I think it’s my AP, but I’m not sure. But it’s like I freeze and stare off into space throughout the day. It’s like there’s no thought in my head. It scares me

Yeah it is a bit scary
Its exactly the same for me
I hadn’t thought about the meds doing it?
I just hope neither of us gets worse!

Are you stressed when it happens? Could it be a form of dissociation @anon85745701?

Possibly it is a very queer nothingness when it happens
I think it definitely is when im stressed

I thought disassociative was more the fogginess feeling disconnected
Black out is completely gone for a few seconds

Yeah. I think we should both tell our pdocs at our next appointment and see what they say

There are different gradients of dissociation, for sure. Do you think you can bring it up with your dr?

I hadn’t given it any much thought until today when i figured out why my sister closed our conversation yesterday very abruptly

I just asked her did she notice anything
She said i just went silent for a few seconds.
Its not like i fainted so maybe it is disassociative, its been happening for a few years occasionally i notice it
