ZINC eliminated most of my very SEVERE negative symptoms

I’m careful to make sure my doctors share my goal of optimal functioning. The one who steered me away from the zinc is the same one who encouraged me to continue with the sarcosine.

Just one thing about studies I should mention. Not all studies are viewable. I learned this as a pharma rep. They can do 10 different studies and if only 1 shows the drug as beneficial they can use that one and have the other 9 studies sealed. Supplements have the worst study rates if they have them at all.

Actually, I have noticed that my negative symptoms seem to get worse whenever I am deficient on just about ANY nutrient. In winter it is often vitamin D3 or C, sometimes I don’t have enough potassium in my diet, or sometimes I will get a huge boost just by eating some fortified cereal (I don’t take multivitamins anymore because I think they are too toxic)

I find that the supplementation of Alpha GPC helped my cognition; not so much negative symptoms.

Hello,
Yes, Zinc can be helpful but people must be aware of zinc poisoning. Everyone interacts with zinc differently.

Always check with your doctor before you take supplements, everyone. I’m already on a ton of supplements so my body will crash if I choose to take more.

Magnesium, vitamin B12 for me are really good. I’m always low on energy due to my chronic illness so my doctor said, “Screw this, I’m prescribing you more B12 than before.”
