z nation is what the walking dead should have been… but the walking dead decided to be a soap opera that takes itself too seriously…
tonight we watched the mental hospital episode… I rolled my eyes and sighed when it made its intentions known… but it didn’t crap on mi like I thought it was going to… it didn’t make the patients the bad guys or overly ridiculous stereotypes… I said huh… Hollywood can show mi without demonizing the piss out of it… it also didn’t make them helpless… its still set in the zombie apocalypse so the head nurse in charge had lobotomized one person like 6 times and she was medicating the patients with trail mix… but the main char went through the zombie filled ward and made sure they got proper meds… the nurse was killed by the one she had done the lobotomies on partially out of revenge and partially to save everyone… the zombies broke in so with proper medication and team work they escaped to a bus outside… none of them even died… except the evil nurse… anyway as ridiculous as the show is they did decent on their mental hospital episode…
