From Lex Fridman interviewing Karl Deisseroth: “What is the landscape of suffering and wisdom explored by Schizophrenia?” Such a beautifully worded question in my opinion. Any answers?

I would start by explaining that panic attacks, anxiety attacks, and paranoia are all very real sufferings endured by those with SZ. As far as wisdom, you have to learn to be humble when experiencing such crazy delusions, knowing you could be hallucinating.

I think the real gift given by SZ is the hope…to hold on even when it seems the truth has abandoned you. Hoping and knowing better days will come.
