You would think I’m a millionaire or something

I have everything I need I guess. I don’t have everything I want but I have everything I need. I know this because I’ve had these Target gift cards since Christmas and I don’t use them because I don’t need anything. There’s four cards worth a $100 and I also have a prepaid Visa gift card with $20 on it I’ve been meaning to spend. I think I’ll get up early tomorrow and browse Target and treat myself to some luxury.

Yeah, there’s lots of scams going on involving you telling someone the code from your gift cards…

I have a few nice things so I understand the feeling to want to treat yourself.

Please let us know what you splurged on.

Yeah go for it. Not bad to be ahead of the game these days. Lots of things are more expensive than they were last year so I think a treat is in order. Well deserved.

My mother in law always gives me Barnes and Noble gift cards for Christmas. I used to read a lot.

But I haven’t read in years. She hasn’t given me one recently but I have several stashed in my old wallet. Never used them. My lawyer gives me Walmart gift cards every year for Christmas. I always use those. I am part of a class action lawsuit against 3M.

I went to Sam’s club today and bought $70 worth of stuff with my Sam’s cash so it was basically free. I didn’t take my debit or credit card out at all. But I spend several thousand dollars a month at Sam’s with my wife’s business.

I don’t really need anything either.

Good for you.

Barnes & Noble also carry CD’s. And maybe other things besides books and CD’s?

Yeah, I looked it up. You can use your Barnes & Noble’s gift cards at their cafe. if there’s a Starbucks inside your Barnes & Nobles you can use it for that. But not at stand alone Starbucks stores.

Cool. Thanks. They have a Starbucks. The store in town is right next to the office I used to work at with the IRS. Before COVID when we actually worked in the office I would go there occasionally.

They had some kind of pastry with fruit I liked and I can’t drink their coffee but the vanilla bean frapachino is pretty good. Sorry I don’t know how to spell that and spellcheck gave me nothing.
