I need to remember that.
How’s the banjo playing going?
Hey @Montezuma - So far it’s mostly just been collecting dust. I’ve been having some health problems and had to have a couple surgeries. The next one is on Tuesday. So I just haven’t had the time or energy. But my plan is to start lessons as soon as I am able. Hopefully this summer, if I am feeling ok. Maybe I’ll even start up a bluegrass band with the cats.

Haha!
I love it! Get those kitties jumpin and singing.
Sorry to hear about your surgery though. Jimmy and I will be thinking about ya.
Thank you.

Hah. The hardware store in the last small town I lived in had a tiny grocery section.
With bread.
Also? They do sell bread machines.
Lol that is probably not helpful information for the folks in Al Anon, where I first heard the expression.
I’m part Polish I walked into a store and said, “I’ll take some Polish sausages please.”
The clerk answered, “Oh, is the weather usually good in Poland this time of year?
I answered back, “Now hold on. Just because I order a Polish sausage you assume I’m Polish?”
If a guy walked in and ordered some sauerkraut you would assume he’s German? That’s stereotyping. “
If a guy walked in and ordered some French bread
would you assume he’s French?”
The clerk goes, “Uh well, gee, Er.”
I said loudly, “If a guy walks in and orders a pizza would you assume he’s Italian?”
I said, “Well what have you got to say for yourself?”
The clerk answered, “Well first of all, this is a hardware store.”
That is whack. Is that just an exclusively "Canadian " thing? I’ve never heard of that combination anywhere else!
Very VERY small town. One store that is hardware supplies for farmers, but also has a small grocery section to save people driving 40 minutes to the next nearest town.
