I am soooooo scared to get another psychotic episode…
any tips?
Do you take meds? If you are on the right meds you are unlikely to relapse, statistics say 60% stay stable. And if you don’t, just visit the hospital and you’ll be treated in no time.

im on meds: 2mg risperdal. And im seeing a psychiatrist. But im still scared… Are you scared of relapse?
In most cases, you will notice early signs of relapse if you have good insight. So make sure you have good insight into your current illness (that is achieved through continuous dialogue between you and your pdoc, your friends etc). Also, 2mg risperdal is not always enough to stave off voices and paranoia.
