Wouldn't it be better to be unemotional?

Having said that I do think it’s possible to change what we feel too :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Being emotionally mature is about understanding, accepting and using your emotions. When you’re very in touch with your emotions, you’d rather have them all than not have them. They’re not so uncomfortable. And you know what you feel, why you feel it, and what you can do about it. Facing difficulties using your emotions as guidance is definitely a sign of maturity. Trying to control and stop your emotions is not very emotionally mature in most situations.

emotional people seem less mature imo as there decision making is hindered by overwhelming emotions

Hating the boys is a feeling I still struggle with.

When I was younger I was ruled by my emotions, I was a fool. Always yelling and carrying on. Something in me changed, I got a grip, I grew, I matured, I feel some now, but it’s not like back then. I wouldn’t want to go back.
