I don’t know about that but I am terrified of going blind and having nothing to do but listen to voices.

I guess I don’t think it’s worth going deaf. Being deaf would suck too.

I’ve tried going deaf, by blasting loud music. After I lost my hearing for a little while, I could still hear the voices. So didn’t work. I wouldn’t suggest what I did. I now have about 30% hearing in my left ear.

First years they were horrible now they fade out i hope they disapear oneday :slight_smile:

I’m partially deaf and hear voices anyway and hear them even when I plug my ears and eliminate external noises.

Even if it could fix it, I don’t think I would want to be fully deaf. I am frustrated enough being partially deaf in a fully hearing world. I already have losses in sound quality of music. For example, binaural beats are often lost on me because I have to crank the sound crazy high to get the full binaural experience. The same can be said of ASMR, which I enjoy greatly. I could not stand going from partial to no audio.

I already know that eventually I’m gonna be screwed over by diabetes so idk. Probably have it now with the sudden weight I’m dropping and drinking water so much. Grandpa and great gramma died from it. No win either way.

Yes next Tuesday for a fasting glucose test. Idk. Maybe I don’t have it but it’s been quite a while since my last A1C. Wish me luck. :slight_smile:

LOL however frustrating the voices may be, I prefer to deal with them over going deaf :smile:

Deaf people still hear voices. There are deaf sz/sza’s out there. I am very hard of hearing. That doesn’t prevent me from hearing voices and other audible hallucinations.
