Would you rather your partner give you positive reinforcement or be honest about their concerns?

I’m panicking about this move and my husband asked me if he just wanted him to encourage me and give positive reinforcement,

Or be realistic about his concerns.

I’m pretty sure I know his concerns,

They’ve got to be similar to mine.

Would you want to hear it or just be in ignorance?

It’s a tough call for me,

I worry a lot as it is.

Do you guys know where you’ll be moving to?
Is it in California or a different state?

I would also prefer honesty even if it hurts.

I would like a bit of both. It is possible to frame concerns in a positive light

We’re staying in California,

Staying as close to where we live currently, as possible.

Honesty is the best policy

Honesty.

Anything less… over time, becomes scary/frightening.

Or as the fictional Vito Corleone says (The Godfather part 1; for the layperson)…

‘… insist on hearing bad news immediately’.

People can handle a lot, I think.
