Working memory

Is there a way to improve this or is my brain damaged beyond repair

My pdoc says sza affects the brain, and though it isn’t reversible, doing brain games and word or math puzzles etc can be helpful in slowing the damage.

From my knowledge schizophrenia isn’t neurodegenerative so it won’t get worse but the damage is done

Well, we’re not computers, not yet anyway,

some of it could be natural and happens to everyone.

Peppermint. They used to give it to us before tests in school.

When I just started full time work again, I had huge difficulties following people’s conversations and learning new material. I gradually developed my working memory back after two to three months. You can develop them back, you just need to keep at it. You like video games. I find playing Starcraft 2 of quite some help in improving focus, concentration and multi-tasking. Some shooting games also increase alertness and reaction speed. I personally found Ground Branch to have helped me immensely in instantly reacting. Also practice reading and meditation.
