I’m wearing a long denim skirt today. I’m thinking about wearing it to work but I’m worried people will think the long skirt is a religious statement.
I just happen to like flowy ankle length skirts.
Should I wear a skirt that ends at my knees or shorts instead? It’s too hot to wear pants

I love long denim skirts. But i usually wear a fancier blouse with ruffles and necklace to go with so it doesn’t seem demure if that makes sense. The only issue would be going up and down ladders or squatting a lot.
Yeah, @sweetpotatopie , that makes sense. I have to wear a tshirt which is why I’m concerned it has a religious type of look to it with the long denim skirt
Can you wear like a nicer shirt over the t shirt but not buttoned up? You could get one of those scarves that are one ring around the neck so nothing dangles but dresses up the outfit? 
Edit maybe a nice button up unbuttoned with half sleeves. So it’s casual but dressed up and still shows t shirt.
