Apparently we got a bit of the white stuff last night. The ground was too warm for it to stick but the roof tops are all covered and it looks beautiful. Our first snow of the year came fairly early. I hope we get a ton this year and the mountains get a good snow pack and pull us out of this drought.

Well I hope you get lots of rain with some super cool thunder storms and the rarely seen snow storm and that you can see all of it from the comfort of your sofa snuggled up with your honey and your fur babies.

I’m in Michigan and I love fall and winter. I do a lot of ice fishing in the winter. I love being out on the great lakes and watching the sun rise. I get a sense of peace when I’m out there.
I’m in lower Michigan and we haven’t had a major snow storm in 20 years. Nothing like we got in the 1980’s and 90’s.

Yea, when I moved here 18 years ago the snow was outrageous. It was piled up all over the place, really hard to deal with. Now we’re lucky to get 6 inches, then it melts before the next snow.
