Woke up Paralyzed

The phone rang and I woke up paralyzed,
as if my soul had been outside my body;
I had to reel it in to mother matter
to answer just an automated call
with a telemarketer’s recorded voice.
Oh well, there is my dog I have to feed,
and in my dreams I’d scored a zillion likes.

Beats waking up dead.

If dead, does one wake up at all? “To sleep, perchance to dream; aye, there’s the rub.” Hamlet’s soliloquy.

Borath,

that was a good one. I too hope to have a dog one day as my only friend, if that’s what you intended to say, that is. Those rascals always give a zillion likes, at least I’m hoping so for myself, some day. Have a good day.

Yes, a dog’s love is unconditional. I wouldn’t recommend a blue heeler (like mine), tho, unless you can give it lots of socialization, activity, and a “job” to do. I blew it with my heeler, so now he is very aggressive toward anybody but his owner, i.e. me. There are lots of breeds to choose from, but I wouldn’t want another one like this. Just being honest.

It’s cool how you have to say that you are another mother looker in the good ole world. Doesn’t matter if the goodness or the paralysis is working to clear, but I am wondering if you are paralysed in your mind.
