Woke up. Felt like I'd been punched in the head

Does this happen to anyone else?

I don’t drink but it feels like the world’s worst hangover.

It’s random. But it means my day is ruined.

I know we talk about other symptoms a lot but my main symptom of distress seems to be this one.

Does anyone else get this?

I have PTSD as long as other thing… I actually wind up beating myself up and sometime my girl{ in my sleep, but not violently ruff} … So Yes I get head ache when i wake up if I don’t take my ptsd me to calm my brain and body down before i go to bed, but when i skip anything i get worse head ache from my own actions as well as my gal with minor bumps.

Could be dehydration which actually is the number one source of pain when it comes to Hangovers as well

Interesting. I think I drink enough water but maybe I don’t. I’ll try to drink more. Thanks @FreeLunch .

It could also be allergies

I’ll bring it up with my psychiatrist when I see them next. I hope it’s not sleep apnea.

Yeah, i know that, it happens mostly when i got not enough sleep or it was not a deep sleep.

Same here today, slightly headache too.

Water with a fresh lemon seems to help me to get a bit more energy

I read long time ago that a lemon bring you very fast energy, your body build sugar from it, don’t know exactly, but it works.

That could be it too. I don’t think i got enough sleep last night. Maybe I’ll try going to bed earlier.

Could be a migraine. Some people just get them without there being a cause.

I don’t think it’s a migraine after googling the symptoms of a migraine, but I’m definitely going to get medical advice. Thanks @Pickpink

Try drinking a full 8 ounces of water when you wake up. To absorb it better, put a little pinch of salt in it. There’s science behind this but I am too lazy to look and link right now.

Water before coffee actually wakes you up, too.

I suggest getting a fitbit. You can set the alarm for whenever, and it has an option to wake you during the best window. When you’re in the best part of your sleep cycle for waking without feeling awful.

It also gently vibrates your wrist to wake you.

I felt this way on Abilify too.
Yeah… could be the meds.

Try drinking plenty (enough) water like @FreeLunch suggested.

It could help
