Will voices become more frequent?

I was diagnosed at 19. Im 21 now. I feel i caught it early. Right now i hear voices maybe once a month…short and nonsensical. Will these get worse as from what i read its usually diagnosed in male patients in their mid 20s?

That’s a really good question. I would want to know that too if I was you. I just don’t think anyone can answer that though. I think if I was in your shoes I would follow my treatment plan, see a therapist and a pdoc on a very regular basis and be very honest with them about any symptoms. Other than that there’s no sense worrying about it.

It doesn’t get worse it more likely get better
And it sounds like it’s fizzling out with you

I find it to be seasonal. Could be better for a while and maybe a short period of time it’s worse than usual. Overall, and generally though it gets better with time, not worse. Your brain starts to adapt to the meds and symptoms. IMO

If you get meds you probably won’t have voices. I am over medicated and still hear voices
