If you want to save money why not invest in a second hand bike? Try Ebay or something and get a super duper one a rich person is bored of?
This is the most affordable folding bike that the quality is just good enough not to break down too soon, anyway im still thinking about, gonna plan some routes first before i go buying something like this, i gotta an idea of where i could go with it. I know of a long trail in yonkers. I would have to fold the bike and hop on a bus(the 20) to go to this trail. 7 day unlimited metro cards are like 30 dollars right?

Ride a =bike= in the Bronx? Hmm. Well, I suppose it might be safer than riding the subway, but, then again, I’m not sure. (Those who have not been in the south Bronx, at least, would have to do that for a few days to get where I’m coming from.)
Bronx is pretty safe these days, but for the trail, i was thinking about taking a bus to yonkers
