Why SZ people connected by GOD/Spirit/Soul or Supernatural power?

Daze, I respect your struggle and your responsibility towards kids. All these burden you are taking on your shoulder and it must be good example for others too that sz people are quite capable. But how many normal people give us respect for this?
I personally doing hard work and established my own business and now running it successfully.

I agree, throwing money at poor is no help to eradicate the poverty and Communalism is also not the solution as we have seen the fate of Russia.
But as you saying guidance by some fortunate person rarely happens. so what must be the way.
stand on your own feet?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately lots of higher education lures young and wayward youth into

taking out astronomical debt and they either quit or take a lesser job barely getting by. It doesn’t have to be mentally ill folks but for us we take the bait to

make changes when really they need to be more on a personal level and not professional.

I was able to finish my degree and have my kids before I needed meds. Though I’m not making money in my field, it is my passion.

Most people who stay poor like me think they know what they need to get by but they could be so much more able to enjoy

an influx of money if they are willing to keep learning. It pisses me off sometimes my father has an MBA and is successful but he never taught a thing to me.

I think there is lot to learn from schizophrenia…all these inexpressible connection with supernatural powers with natural things have some meaning! Yet the medical science to learn a lot…and it may take another centaury…the cause of several mental diseases and especially to the people who appear normal and able to perform normal in society…every attack gave them something to learn…and meaning of life

This definitely isn’t true for me seeing as how my main coping mechanism with psychosis is to doubt everything I experience automatically and I instantly search for supporting evidence that it actually happened or ask people I don’t think are going to take advantage of me. This way of thinking alone is like the antithesis to faith.

  1. Get a copy of this book and read it and have your family read it, as well. (Torrey can be a bit totalistic and unwilling to see exceptions to his “rules” at times, but most of the book is really worth the effort to plough through.)
  2. Get properly diagnosed by a board-certified psychopharmacologist who specializes in the psychotic disorders. One can find them at…
    http://doctor.webmd.com/find-a-doctor/specialty/psychiatry and https://psychiatrists.psychologytoday.com/rms/
  3. Work with that “psychiatrist” (or “p-doc”) to develop a medication formula that stabilizes their symptoms sufficiently so that they can tackle the psychotherapy that will disentangle their thinking.

  7. If you/she/he needs a professional intervention to get through treatment resistance, tell me where you live, and I will get back to you with leads to those services.
  8. Look into the RAISE Project at https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=raise%20program%20schizophrenia.
  9. Look for “mental illness clubhouses” in your area (which can be hugely helpful… but may also pose risks). Dig through the many articles at https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=mental%20illness%20clubhouse%20model to locate and investigate them.
