Ranking the States
A high overall ranking indicates lower prevalence of mental illness and higher rates of access to care. A low overall ranking indicates higher prevalence of mental illness and lower rates of access to care. The combined scores of all 15 measures make up the overall ranking. The overall ranking includes both adult and youth measures as well as prevalence and access to care measures.
I once read Connecticut has almost the highest level of care but the lowest percentage of people with schizophrenia. Seems like wasted resources. I can’t find a Medicare Doctor here in Washington but at least I can afford it out here otherwise. Back home you must live in a group home You get higher levels of care but can’t afford anything.
Can someone translate this article for me. Doesn’t make sense.
