Stupid effing government is auditing my ex husband and they want all sorts of info from me too. Now I’m trying to control this anxiety and paranoia that’s building inside me. I was so glad the anxiety was gone. I don’t need this. I hate this. I’m so angry right now.

I’m sure you will be fine, just comply with the government’s requests for information. They are auditing your ex, not you.

what country are you in?
As an ex accountant I can tell you if you do things that will get caught in an audit, you take that risk and deal with the consequences. Best to just comply with the requests and get it over asap.

If they audited me if probably have a heart attack
My husband got audited by the IRS right before we got married,
And he owed, a lot.
$100,000+
It was terrible,
But I lived. He lived.
That’s what everyone fears, owing a ton of money,
We did, and it wasn’t the end of the world.
I’m not saying if they’re auditing your husband he’s going to owe or anything like that,
I’m just saying its going to be okay,
Even if things go a little sideways.
Its probably nothing,
Just comply, that’s all you can do.
