Why is chemistry so powerful?

Someone could be doing things that hurt you or and really stress you,

But chemistry might keep bringing you back,

At least for a while.

How comes chemistry is so powerful and what is it anyway?

Chemistry is chemicals. It is nice for a while until they go away, then you better have a lot in common or else you won’t want to be around the person for very long.

That’s cool, could you elaborate if you’d like to?

Sure: Everything is atoms, chemistry is how and why atoms react. Atoms must react under the laws of physics, such as force, no two bodies can occupy the same space, temperature, pressure. basically that is it.

I think you mean chemistry in terms of emotional compatibility?

As far as bringing you back, I think much of it has to do with sharing a past with the person. When meeting people I guess there is such a thing as chemistry where two people just click. Maybe they share viewpoints and a sense of humor. I don’t know I haven’t dated in like 10 years.

Chemistry-

When you both understand each other’s references…when you both have the same sexual inclinations…when you are both on the same goal-oriented wavelength.

I think chemistry is when you can be comfortable with someone doing nothing and having a good laugh or a good time

I think chemistry is when there’s like an invisible magnet.

When we are young sexual chemistry is a powerful thing as we were designed to mate and reproduce. Now that I am old, sexual chemistry doesn’t seem to exist, it’s all about a great friendship and being treated with respect.

I’m young but all the meds have killed my libido entirely so i’m starting to see things from your perspective

I am young and I’m beginning to think sexual chemistry is not priority.

What’s the point if there is no love and friendship

It baffles me

When I was much younger and met my ex husband I was so attracted to him physically that I overlooked and made excuses for all of his flaws. I don’t know what I was thinking.

He was emotionally abusive for near on 20 years and at the end of that time I was given the diagnosis I have today.

You have to be so careful @Zoe. Your emotional well being should be your priority.

Like the song of old says…”if you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with.”
