personally, i would rather have gone out fighting…but hiding in the woods was my only idea at the time.

I prefer to think of it as, “letting them win THAT round.”
But they don’t get to win any after that.

Never did like doing what I was told to do that I felt was wrong, unjust or just unfair. Probably why get so lost in the grey areas of life.
