I thought it was 70% diet, 30% exercise. Your normal daily bodily processes contribute the most to calorie loss.

It doesn’t really make sense to put numbers to it like this. It will be vastly different from person to person, from diet to diet and from exercise regimen to exercise regimen. Some people just need exercise and they lose all their excess weight on their own. Some people just need to change their diet. For some people either will work, and some people need both.

What is true though is that weight loss = calories in minus calories out. For everyone.

The 70% diet part is the most difficult to adhere to since eating is a big factor in our lives. 30% exercise is the easy part.
