When she knows full well I have issues myself…
My mum was talking about someone to her and she said he’s like that cos he must be autistic. This guy on the news did something " he must be autistic " she knows full well I am too so why does she have to use those terms to describe evil people.
My partner said he wants nothing to do with her because he thinks she’s deliberately saying those things cos she knows I have it too.
Its strange bc my dad was really cool but he said he threw a guy with sz down the stairs when he was in hospital but i think it was some junkie trying to steal tobacco.
I kind of thought i didn’t want to bother my dad or anyone with my illness bc i could end up being thrown down the stairs myself or worse, it scared me but i took it as a warning,
I would never hurt anyone on purpose, 5 yrs later i was re-diagnosed anyway but i still think i have underlying sz, i am glad my Dad said this to me in hindsight as much as it may seem strange.
She clearly is clueless about what mental health and autism means … I just don’t know how to get her to think differently so I’ll just leave her to make those ignorant comments.
