I read some posts and noticed that when replying the second poster used the ops first name. How is this possible? Is there a way of seeing your first name on your profile. I think this is a privacy issue
Some people just communicate so much that they learn others names. Niraj is @far_cry0. Most people know that. There are also threads where we post our first names. I think @anon39015889 made a thread like that.
Oh ok thanks @TheBest
I’ve only seen someone use my real first name once, but it made me uncomfortable. Online I’m Nova, and I want it to stay that way.
A couple users have me on FB so they know my real name. I don’t mind. I wrote freelance online so I’m used to being known online.
I use my first name quite often on here
and I’d use my full name if it wasn’t frowned upon
I want some people who look me up to be able to read some of the posts I put on here
Berru was such a kickass name
Most folks who’ve been here a while know I’m Paul. I use it sometimes when appropriate. My surname is another story and that stays private.
Some people give their name out voluntarily. Some of us use it for their screen name or sign the bottom of their posts with their real name.
Anyone know my name?
Also known as Lord Vegemite.
I used to call @rogueone “the Wizard of Oz” - that was when he had his beard though. I’ll have to think of a new name now.
I met a guy who went to school with a kid called Paul Pott. Poor kid
Try Jennifer. 689975432
My user name is basically a combo of my first and last name. I’ll give you a hint. My first name starts with L and my last name starts with O. That’s all I’m saying.
How do you pronounce your username? I’ve always said “low-key” in my head.
My name is Tom Jefferson (not really though) some people call me hank McCoy
Yep. You’re right. It’s low-key.
I prefer being called Zombie. I’ve also gone by Raven online for years, then started writing freelance and got used to my real name being out there. I haven’t written much in a while so not known well though I have to low key stay clean for when I apply to give or submit stuff to agents.
I wouldn’t be angry if people guessed mine, like Rumpelstiltskin. It’s a name that should be common but isn’t.
