Peyton Manning is one, Jordan is two, and Ohtani is three.
George St-Pierre, Barry Sanders, Ronde Barber, Carlos Delgado.
That first fight with gsp and b.j. penn idk man. Gsp went to the hospital and penn went to the bar after the fight man. But ya gsp is a good one man
I wish the jays would of snagged ohtani. I hope l.a. does a repeat
Yeah, I wish he went to the White Sox, but we don’t have money for that.
I would have to say Eddy Merckx the cyclist. I would have at one time said Lance Armstrong but that was before he admitted to being a cheater. I like Greg LeMond, too, as far as American cyclists go. I’m into cycling…
Ones who don’t cheat and ones who exercise in their own eyes and own rum and energy instead of stealing cup and rum and eyes and energy from me while I’m drained exhausted n life force sucked out a lot ….
Not many true athletes in the world .
Definitely not in this country .
I would say Muhammad Ali. Great man inside and outside the ring and funny as hell. I like Jerry Rice too, of the 80’s and 90’s San Francisco 49’rs. He was just so great to watch and holds numerous records. He’s definitely the greatest wide receiver ever.
It’s hands down Sidney Crosby for me. I really started getting into watching Penguins games after my illness started. It brought me comfort, even if they would lose.
Sid is also not one of the best hockey players of all time, but one of the best people. Most level headed star athlete I can think of off the top of my head.
Probably Phil Simms
Giants quarterback of yesteryear
My favorite athlete is Phillip Rivers. He was the quarterback for NFL team the San Diego chargers. He was the most gifted quarterback in my opinion who ever played for the NFL quarterback position. His stats are very high up there. Also he has the best attitude of everybody who played in the NFL.
Jesse Owens winning four gold medals at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, Germany. Owens, despite numerous death threats, not only participated in the games but won the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, long jump, and the 4x100-meter relay. Owens dealt a major defeat to the Nazi regime’s ideology of racial superiority.
Walter Payton had a very successful 13-year career with the Chicago Bears (American football), but I’m choosing Payton for his genuine humility and generosity off the field. He was committed to helping others, especially children and veterans.
