Well probably anyone but my teachers in school would be a great start to answering this question.

I’d far rather suggest a list of candidates, but if I was forced to point to one single person, I’d have to say this guy because he saw all manner of things about the nature of culture and its effects upon us that no one before him (that I know of) had ever spoken or written about. No one else (that I know of) left a swath of influence that changed the nature of philosophic discourse in the West that has had such widespread upshots, including those in sociology, political science, psychology and psychotherapy.
