I slept from like midnight to 1030 again. This is not good. I keep hitting the snooze on my phone for like an hour, I set it for 930 and then snooze it. Im a full time student, im getting away with it so far but it’s not gonna fly later in the semester when I have papers and midterms. I think quitting smoking has made me sleep more, I am on like six pieces of nicotine gum a day, I used to smoke a about a pack, sometimes more or less.
Here I am with class at 1240 and drinking coffee. I might need to resort to caffeine pills, like pop one when my alarm wakes me up and then lay in bed until it kicks in.
Who here has taken caffeine pills, how much do they cost and where did you buy them?
When I was in the university in the 1980s I used these caffeine pills, these were inexpensive and readily available at local pharmacies, I also used vitamin C pills because vitamin C has good properties in intelligence. After few days being awake your brain may be so ■■■■■■ up that one may regret ever taking caffeine pills. Just coffee drinking may serve the same purpose which I did a lot in the 1980s.
hahaha i gave up smoking and coffee for me coffee and cigareetes go together so i now drink tea so every morning whilst im giving up smokig 3 caffein tablets aswell i know i have to knock this on the head at some point but better than smoking.
I take two 200 mg caffeine pills a day. That is the maximum dose of caffeine that health professionals say you should get. I’ve drank ten cups of coffee a day for forty years, so I decided it would be simpler and easier just to take caffeine pills. There is a variety of name brands for caffeine pills, the most famous being “no doze”. You can get it at drug stores or Wal Mart or some grocery stores. It is not the cheapest brand. I buy “Jet Alert” caffeine pills at Wal Mart. They are the cheapest pills. I pay $3.43 for ninety 200 mg pills. Wal Mart is probably the cheapest place to get caffeine pills. If I were you I would take them sparingly - no more than two a day.
The best place to buy caffeine pills is Wal Mart, though other places can be almost as cheap. The best brand is “Jet Alert”. At Wal Mart it costs $3.43 for ninety 200 mg pills.
Is getting to bed earlier an option for you? It works for me. If you have reading to do you can wake up early and finish instead of burning the midnight oil. You need to get your 10 pm to 2 pm sleep which is your most profitable. I know it sucks, but a regular bedtime goes a long way. I used to have to be at work for 8:30 and after the shock of 5:30 blood pressure tests at the hospitals I was able to do it.
