Who has watched the movie sound of freedom

I quite liked it.

I didn’t cry though which is a let down

Any reviews?

I heard about it, but never saw it.

Apparently one of the executive producers is a chomo which kinda dirtied the image and reputation of the movie in the press.

@montezuma

What is a chomo

It’s a US prison and street slang for a child molester.

Im looking forward to seeing it when i can. The fact that the mainstream media tried to ruin it by calling it consiracy theory makes me think it must be a pretty accurate depiction of whats actually going on haha.

Lol. Yea I hope you enjoy the movie. The two main character kids are really adorable

And it is a really successful independent film. According to wikipedia

I was quite pleasantly surprised

Having said that, I didn’t find it breathtakingly good.

It didn’t really pull my heart strings but nevertheless it was interesting movie

Yeah its tough trying to find movies that will really make me emotionally invested or to be effected by it. Especially since i havent shed a tear in about two years or so.

Oh right. That’s a long time not to shed tears but yes I can empathise for when I was on 10mg abilify.

Funnnily enough, I watched Barbie last week, and I did get teary eyed in that one.

Yea it’s a really disturbing movie but I like it for raising awareness. Which is a positive thing.

I saw it. It’s sad because it’s really happening. But it’s a good movie
