The one I’ve related to the most is Gregg Alexander.
His voice is so raw and honest, and his lyrics are intelligent and honest, and well-written.
He seems, judging by his songs, to experience heartache in a way that resonates with me.

I like John Mayer, and some of the old 50s crooners. I can’t say I “understand” them on a spiritual level or anything, I just like certain tunes.
Maybe katelyn tarver. She is not heavily famous but I can relate to the lyrics in her songs talking about addiction and insecurity
If you asked me what songwriter I relate to the most in the entire world, famous or not, I’d have to say one of my best friends.
He co-wrote a song with a Danish singer about what it feels like to be a patient in the psychiatric care system and constantly feeling like you’re being evaluated up the wazoo
Janet Jackson cos I was a really good dancer back in the day.

Most of my favorite artists are underground, at least in the US.
Ashbury Heights has tracks about being mentally ill and lonely.
Especially the latest, Spectres From the Black Moss.

I thought i understand one idol or singer which he is well,but the truth is i never even understand him alot because i never met him,or ever talked to him

I Like to Think I Understand The Songwriter. Especially When it Taps My Consciousness And Heart
I May or May Not Fully Understand Everything I’ve Heard in My Short Life.

What Has Grown Fascinating is Trying to Decode The Instrument Language.
Like a Guitar Solo, (For Example), It Sometimes Feels Like Something is Being Said.
But!, I Can Never Solve The Puzzles. So. It Engages Me to Leave The Worst Part of Society Behind.
And, Enjoy The Artist’s With Seemingly Sacred Passion as They Stand Alone on Stage.
