Is schizophrenia more chronic with psychosis than schIzoaffective cause I heard it has a better prognosis

I don’t know about everyone but I have had a dx of schizoaffective before, but moods cause me more issues than psychosis does…

I have SZA. I don’t get negatives symtoms. I remain fairly stable mood wise.

My negative symptoms and psychosis come and go although I have at least some symptoms of them chronically.

I have sza and my moods especially depression affect me as much as psychosis and negatives equally

Same but my meds made it a smaller rollercoaster

It’s good that your stable !

sza is supposed to be slightly less severe… but what mood symptoms i’ve had with psz made me think it might be the worst thing ever
i was temporarily dxd with sza because of mania (?) which made sense at the time but then stuff went yet more severe again and they changed it back to psz
it all changed for me when i came off my meds age 30
3x more severe symptoms

How do they change there mind like that I thought having even just one episode makes you bipolar . And on top of your schizophrenia

Mastering your hallucinations.

The first time I had a negative hallucination I had put it back in its pram within hours.

Then taking whatever good from it you can

What are manic symptoms?
