Children come out as a pure beings with simple demands: eat, poop and safety. As they grow up, the basic need for safety will now include need for love and approval.
Take the love from such a little growing human and you get an open wound that can be filled will all those negative stuff you are mentioning: hate, jealousy, egoism…

Pans, have you considered that maybe whatever bad experiences you’ve had are just distorting your outlook? When you perceive things in absolutes, for example all good or all bad, that should be a clear sign that there’s some big-time distortion going on.

And it is true, i don’t know why people have to delude themselves about their sweet little angels. It’s disgusting really. They’ll be abusing eachother before you know it, and then drunk behind the wheel after that, they’ll turn into all of us.
Seriously, not all of them. I had a rough time in school, I had to be moved to another classroom because I was bullied. Some kids are definitely jerks, whether it’s because they haven’t developed empathy yet or whatever.
But there are some really cool, kind kids out there, who would take time to stand up for or comfort or just hang out with a kid who it was the fashion to hate. I’m serious, there are some great kids out there.
