There’s a new monthly injection of risperidone. Just wondering if anyone is taking it or when it comes out?
I’m on 2 weeks injection at the moment.
For this you got to ask your doctor to write to your required department to check when the medicine is approved or to speed up approval of medicine

i’m on 2 weekly injection too. never heard of monthly one.

Theres been Xeplion for years, which is risperadone already metobolised as Paliperadone. And thats 4 weekly. Many of us are on it.

There’s a new risperidone monthly injection released about a year ago .

Perseris? Its a monthly subcutaneous injection of 90 or 120mg Risperdal.

Subcutaneous means what
Under the skin and not in a muscle (intramuscular).

No I am on 4mg Risperdal pills but check the linked website and ask your Dr. Subcutaneous just means that the injection is not given in the muscle but instead at a more superficial site under the skin. The 2 weekly injection is intramuscular.
