I would like to live in a city London or New York working as a temp for an angency
Any less pressured job. If possible, Maybe a mind reader. Not sure if that’s a job. But would be cool.
I was going to be a lawyer before mental illness got in my way.
My dream job is President of the United States. I’m Irish, so I can’t ever get that job, but I have said to myself many times what I would love to change if I were president.
Firstly, I would offer free health care for everyone, much like the NHS in the United Kingdom.
Secondly. I would create a new North American Union which would consist of Mexico, the United States and Canada. And citizens of all countries could travel freely through the Union, much like the European Union.
Thirdly, I would ensure I did everything possible to reverse the effects of climate change and ban fossil fuels.
Finally, I would FINALLY tell the public about the cover-up of E.T.s visiting Earth.
My dream job would be chairman, CEO & founder of a technology company listed in the Fortune 500 companies. My company would be a manufacturer of microelectronic finished products to middlemen vendors and sellers. I’d be one of the 2,600 billionaires worldwide and have assets & operations located around the globe.
My dream job is to be an English teacher in China. Teaching young Chinese English language would be very fulfilling. Also this job will bring you good money if you are really good at teaching English in China.
Haha. That sounds great.
Before the illness, I wanted to be an investment banker. Now, apple tech support. If I ever get better, maybe an actuary or programmer…
A submarine officer on board a boomer, or a lawyer.
I was interested in the navy at one time years ago. I guess you can be a nuclear engineer in the navy. Sounds fun, challenging, and lucrative. Probably some of the smartest people do it. I honestly probably wouldn’t be good at it because I struggled in college with “basic” math. Sounds cool. Probably one of those careers where you can make your mom proud. I think the navy and air force have the smartest people.
My dad was a machinist mate on a sub. It changed him. Now he has OCD and is routine like.
Subs are cool though. They have lawyers in the military. I think it’s called JAG.
When I was younger, I wanted to be a pilot. I then realized I couldn’t do it. I think because I got light headed standing up after sitting for a while. Not sure I could handle the g forces. I figured math is better anyways.
I want to be an American Jedi.
If I was smarter or never had prodromal, negative symptoms of schizophrenia (or schizophrenia period), a mathematician working for the government.
Mathematicians get a lot of ■■■■because it sounds boring, but it’s like one of the top 10 careers now. They get paid mid career over 100k and they practically just think and are laid back people. It’s pretty low stress and easy if you’re talented in math.
I would like to help refugees or work in immigration. Or I would like to work as a civil engineer.
In high school, I never took anything seriously or studied. I once showed up for the ASVAB test (only test I took in high school), I scored 50-60 points. After my schizophrenia when I dropped out of college, I took an online ASVAB test that estimates your score: they predicted I would score in the 70s. That pissed me off, I thought I would score higher. But I didn’t study.
People who study it hard/seriously can get like 99 points. I should have studied it before I got sick. The trickiest stuff is stuff I never learned like mechanics and stuff.
Apparently you just need to score 30-36 or above to enlist, right? That’s pretty low. I wonder what officers need.
But I’d image the top/best jobs require an ASVAB close to 99, right?
They never offered that test in my school. Looking back I think military might have been a good choice if I wanted to travel.
I think ASVAB of 92-99 puts you in the top tier of enlistments. 60-92 is the next tier I think. I’ve heard of Marines just choosing random answers because they want to be infantry and they don’t care bout the ASVAB. People definitely sound like a dbag when they talk about this when you are in the fleet. I didn’t get a single question right on the electronics part. The mechanical part is new.
Mine would be a psychologist I’ve wanted to be one since I was 10
