What's the public transportation like in your city or town?

It exists, but it may as well not exist.

Buses come rarely, there’s still a lot of walking to do; they don’t connect well with most places.

There’s a train that goes from north of here to Miami that’s supposed to be good, though. But nothing helpful to get you where you’re going once you get to your stop.

A car is very necessary here.

We have buses for local transport, plus a train that runs into the nearest city. I am scared-ish of people, though, so it doesn’t work for me. I have a car (kind of- my husband is using it because our son is using his), but I cannot drive and haven’t for about two years (though not for lack of desire).

You can walk anywhere in my town in less that 30 min.

It’s great here. I really don’t need a car. Even when I worked nightshift, the last and first bus/train got me anywhere. Cosy town I am living in.

No, we haven’t yet got autonomous bus services here in Nanjing. My city isn’t so advanced if compared to Beijing and Shenzhen. I wish we had, it would be so much fun.

There’s a town about 40 minutes away that has a few buses. But it’s not great. It only goes to a few places, so you usually have to find a way to get downtown to the (only) bus station if you need to use it. But it’s cheap, so 🤷

When I lived in Portland Oregon I used to bus and light rail as my primary transportation.

We have busses taxi rides hares etc
The bus pass is so expensive. Like 200 a month.
But hey we have free Healthcare in canadia… unless it’s for psychiatric stuff then you must pay  :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
