What's the heaviest thing you've ever had delivered to your home?

for me it was a set of bumper plates, which are rubber lifting weights, for doing deadlifts, you can drop them on the floor without damaging the floor or the weights. i think i got 300 pounds worth of them. felt kinda bad for the delivery guy, having to drop off those weights.

then i got a breakfast nook from wayfair, which was also kind of heavy.

i try not to order heavy stuff online, but sometimes i hate going to the city to shop, it’s just so convenient to order online, and have it delivered.

for a year, i worked for a home furniture company and delivered furniture to people. i always hated the heavy stuff.

A treadmill. It was at my house with my ex. I wish I still had it.

LS! A sofa. I tipped the delivery man ten euro. So he will be happy and will not come back to steal something.

Furniture, appliances like a refrigerator and a big snowblower.

I don’t know about delivered but I sold a Coca Cola Machine for $600 to a police officer who wanted to make it his gun chamber

I pulled a hernia putting it in his car though lol

Lol I once met with a guy on Kijiji to buy used headphones, he gave me the address of a police station lol I was scared, thought it was a trap to arrest me, maybe someone put drugs or guns in my car. He told me to get in but police officers didn’t open me the door. Finally he came outside with the headphones.

Haha yeah My tendency’s lead me to have a funny story about police too

I listed this old Coca Cola Machine my parents had they thought it was worth $0. I said no you can sell it on Craigslist for hundreds. I could’ve got more. Glad I didn’t for karmic reasons Or something . But I listed it he didn’t tell me he was a police officer but then he showed up and he told me. He thought I already knew he was a police officer. So there was a weird exchange me being the Sz dual diagnosed person in the room. Albeit I was living in a sober home at the time, relatively stable when I orchestrated this deal so I wasn’t so paranoid about him being a cop. But Just knew this guy didn’t like me much.

At my job at the pizza place we had police officers come in all the time. A regular thing.

And I delivered to them a lot in another town

What kind of exercise bike do you have?

I have an Exerpuetic stationary bike.

It has about eight levels of resistance, and it monitors my pulse too.

It’s nothing super fancy, but it’s convenient and does the job.

I’ve ordered some heavy furniture on Amazon. When I do that I make sure to message the seller and have them include shipping instructions saying we’ll help unload.

50 pounds of self hardening modeling clay…fifty bucks…all in all…a good deal and hobby idea for anyone out there that likes to paint with acrylic paint their clay sculptures…only downfall of this self hardening clay is that you can’t let them get wet after they cure…takes about two days to completely harden no matter how thick the sculpture…
