Recently I’ve noticed aching in body/joints, my ankle/leg when i walk, my wrist and shoulder when i sit on the computer. I’m 30 years old. I hope it’s not the medication messing up my body.
It seems a bit early for aging related aches and pains.
As we spend at least 8 hours a day in bed it is vital that you invest in a good mattress. This could possibly alleviate any problems.
It could be due to lack of exercise or too much inactivity. Maybe bring it up with your GP. I have the things you describe but I’m 60 years old.
Yeah, a sedentary lifestyle may be the thing causing your physical problems.
Of course it could be other things too. Personally, I worked my ass off for four years unloading trucks. Now I’m paying for it with a bad back. If you did a lot of physical work when you were younger it could be the source of your problems now.
@magz , You sound like me. But I’m 61 years old. You might be too sedentary like @77nick77 says or maybe coming down with early arthritis. I would see your primary doctor if I were you.
Yeah, I think I will. Thanks.
What if it’s early arthritis? Am I screwed then? I would be devestated if I cannot use the computer in the future, and also not go for walks and move outside.
The computer is such a huge part of my life.
I go for walks every day so I’m not super sedentary, but I do sit a lot on the computer. Actually most of the time.
@magz , Having arthritis does not prevent one from walking outdoors or using a computer. Not unless it’s rheumatoid arthritis and/or it’s at a really advanced stage.
I’m not even saying you have arthritis. I don’t know. I’m not a doctor. I’m just saying you should see a doctor and get yourself checked out.
Just so you know, I am 61, and I have osteoarthritis throughout my body, it’s at a fairly advanced stage, and I go walking, do yoga, play piano, and sit with my smartphone or computer all day long with no problems
. And I cannot take any meds for pain either.
That happens to me when I use a cheap brand of L-theanine. I’m 62 years old, though.
@magz , Exercise is my pain relief.
Thanks. That’s relieving to read.
Anyway, I will probably go to a doc soon.
low vit. D levels can also cause joint pains, i get that so i make sure i take my supplements

Maybe you are developing arthritis. I have that.
I started developing those aches and pains at age 30. After loads of tests, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Exercise really helps a lot. It was hard to get started, because of the pain. But now that I am used to it, I feel much better doing at least 30 minutes of light exercise a day.
